There is an important barrier to be overcome and that is the pattern of thought has been established in ourselves. We have learned that if we desire someone we have to do something to get her and that is applicable sometimes but there are other times in which the conditions are not appropriate to do something.
The only thing we can do is to change our pattern of thought. The new pattern is "to desire is enough, I just feel satisfied because I desire her, I do not need anything else" if we truly believe on this pattern of thought it will work.
LOVE AT DISTANCE
Sometimes even if we are at the same city the person we love is at a geographical distance
sometimes the distance is large and there are long periods in which we are with the person we love
there is a mantra that is useful for these situations

Individuation begins when we look inside ourselves for answers and when we stop blaming others for our feelings, when we reach that point we begin relating to our emotions and intuitions as our teachers.
Self appreciation
Self appreciation is influenced by negative remarks listen in our childhood; using affirmations we can create a new self image that better reflects our true identity.
We want to live from a more spiritual point of view
My beliefs create much of what happens to me
I bring into awareness the core beliefs (i.e. the most important part of our Internal Frame of Reference)
I am unlearning some core beliefs because:
I am united to every human being and everything in the universe (i.e. not a separate individual)
I work and cooperate for my livehood (i.e. not necessary to compete)
I am ageless (i.e. not aging)
The spiritual world is ONE with the material world (not true that the material is what really counts)
